Data Deletion Policy and Instructions

1. Introduction

This Data Deletion Policy explains how users of TargetAYS may request deletion of their account and Personal Data.

TargetAYS respects your right to control your information. You may request deletion of data associated with your TargetAYS account at any time, subject to limited legal, security, and operational retention requirements described below.

This Policy should be read together with our:

  • Privacy Policy;
  • Terms of Service;
  • Cookie Policy.

3. Who May Submit a Deletion Request

A deletion request may be submitted by:

  • a registered TargetAYS user;
  • an authorized representative of a registered user;
  • an authorized representative of an organization using TargetAYS;
  • a person whose Personal Data has been processed through the Services.

We may request additional information to verify the identity and authority of the person submitting the request.

4. How to Delete Your TargetAYS Account

Option 1: Delete Your Account from TargetAYS

Where account deletion functionality is available, you may request deletion directly from your TargetAYS account:

  1. Sign in to your TargetAYS account.
  2. Open Настройки.
  3. Open Privacy and Data.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Review the deletion notice.
  6. Type DELETE to confirm.
  7. Confirm your deletion request.

After confirmation, your account will be deleted from active systems where technically and legally possible.

If the account deletion option is not yet available in the interface, use the email procedure below.

Option 2: Submit a Request by Email

Send an email to:

Use the following subject line:

TargetAYS Data Deletion Request

Include:

  • the email address associated with your TargetAYS account;
  • your name;
  • a brief statement confirming that you want your account and associated data deleted;
  • the name of your organization, if the account is used on behalf of a business.

For security reasons, we may ask you to verify control of the account before processing the request.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment card information, or government identification documents unless specifically requested through a secure verification process.

5. Data Deletion for Meta, Facebook, and Instagram Users

If you connected TargetAYS to Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business, or a Meta advertising account, you may request deletion of data received through Meta.

You may use either of the following methods.

Method 1: Contact TargetAYS

Send an email to:

Use the subject:

Meta User Data Deletion Request

Include:

  • the email address associated with your TargetAYS account;
  • your TargetAYS account name;
  • the Facebook or Instagram account name, where relevant;
  • a request to delete data obtained through Meta integrations.

We may request additional information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

Method 2: Remove TargetAYS from Meta

You may remove TargetAYS through your Facebook account settings:

  1. Sign in to Facebook.
  2. Open Settings & Privacy.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Open Apps and Websites.
  5. Find TargetAYS in the list of connected applications.
  6. Select Remove.
  7. Follow the displayed instructions.

Removing TargetAYS from Meta revokes future access through that connection.

Removing the application does not always automatically delete information already stored by TargetAYS. To request deletion of previously stored information, also submit a deletion request using the email procedure described above.

6. Disconnecting an Advertising Account

You may disconnect an integrated advertising account without deleting your entire TargetAYS account.

Where the feature is available:

  1. Sign in to TargetAYS.
  2. Open Integrations.
  3. Select the connected advertising platform.
  4. Choose Disconnect or Remove Connection.
  5. Confirm the action.

Disconnecting an integration may:

  • revoke the corresponding access token;
  • prevent TargetAYS from receiving new platform data;
  • stop campaign synchronization;
  • disable related campaign management functionality.

Previously stored data may remain until it is deleted under the applicable retention schedule or through a separate deletion request.

7. Information Covered by a Deletion Request

Depending on how you used TargetAYS, the deletion process may include:

  • account profile information;
  • name and email address;
  • authentication identifiers;
  • profile image;
  • user preferences;
  • project information;
  • business descriptions;
  • website and social media information;
  • advertising campaign settings;
  • connected advertising account identifiers;
  • campaign statistics stored by TargetAYS;
  • AI conversation history;
  • prompts and generated responses;
  • uploaded files and creative materials;
  • integration access tokens;
  • notification preferences;
  • customer support communications, where deletion is legally permitted.

8. What Happens After a Request Is Submitted

After receiving a valid deletion request, TargetAYS will normally:

  1. acknowledge receipt of the request;
  2. verify the identity of the requester;
  3. identify the relevant account and information;
  4. deactivate the account where appropriate;
  5. revoke or delete active integration credentials;
  6. delete or anonymize eligible Personal Data;
  7. notify the requester when the process is complete.

We may contact you if additional information is required.

9. Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests without undue delay.

Most valid requests will normally be completed within 30 days.

Additional time may be required where:

  • the request is complex;
  • multiple systems or service providers are involved;
  • identity verification is incomplete;
  • applicable law permits an extended response period;
  • information must be preserved for legal or security reasons.

Where an extension is necessary, we will provide an explanation where required by applicable law.

10. Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained after an account deletion request where retention is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with legal obligations;
  • maintain tax or financial records;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce agreements;
  • investigate fraud or abuse;
  • protect the security of the Services;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • comply with requests from competent authorities;
  • maintain records of consent, deletion requests, or legal compliance.

Retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

11. Backups

Deleted information may temporarily remain in encrypted or restricted backup systems.

Backup copies are generally removed or overwritten according to established backup retention schedules.

While information remains in backups:

  • it will not normally be restored to active production systems;
  • it will not be used for ordinary business activities;
  • access will remain restricted;
  • it will be deleted or overwritten during the normal backup lifecycle.

Where technically and legally feasible, residual backup data will normally be removed within 90 days after deletion from active systems.

12. Anonymized and Aggregated Information

TargetAYS may retain information that has been irreversibly anonymized or aggregated so that it can no longer reasonably identify you.

Anonymized or aggregated information may be used for:

  • statistical analysis;
  • service performance measurement;
  • security research;
  • product improvement;
  • understanding general usage patterns.

Information that can reasonably be linked back to an identifiable individual will not be treated as anonymized.

13. Effect of Account Deletion

Deleting your TargetAYS account may permanently remove access to:

  • saved projects;
  • campaign settings;
  • AI conversation history;
  • generated advertising materials;
  • connected advertising accounts;
  • campaign reports;
  • preferences and account settings;
  • subscription and usage history, except where legally retained.

Account deletion may be irreversible.

Users should download or copy any information they wish to retain before submitting a deletion request.

14. Deletion of Subscription Information

Deleting an account does not automatically cancel obligations that arose before deletion.

Where paid subscriptions are available, users should cancel active subscriptions before deleting their account.

Certain billing and transaction records may be retained where required for:

  • accounting;
  • taxation;
  • payment disputes;
  • fraud prevention;
  • regulatory compliance.

TargetAYS does not intentionally retain complete payment card numbers.

15. Requests Submitted by Authorized Representatives

An authorized representative may submit a deletion request on behalf of a user.

We may require:

  • written authorization from the user;
  • evidence of the representative's authority;
  • independent identity verification by the user;
  • information sufficient to identify the relevant TargetAYS account.

We may refuse a request where the representative's authority cannot be reasonably verified.

16. Requests We May Refuse or Limit

TargetAYS may refuse or limit a deletion request where:

  • the identity of the requester cannot be verified;
  • the request concerns another person's information without authorization;
  • retention is required by law;
  • the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive;
  • deletion would interfere with the rights of another person;
  • information is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • applicable law permits or requires continued processing.

Where required by law, we will explain the reason for refusing or limiting a request.

17. Data Held by Third Parties

Deleting information from TargetAYS does not necessarily delete information independently held by third-party services.

These services may include:

  • Meta;
  • Facebook;
  • Instagram;
  • Google;
  • advertising platforms;
  • payment processors;
  • authentication providers;
  • cloud service providers.

To delete data held directly by a third party, you may need to submit a separate request to that provider.

TargetAYS is not responsible for information independently controlled by third-party providers.

18. Revoking Third-Party Permissions

You may revoke TargetAYS permissions through the relevant third-party platform.

Revoking permissions may prevent future access but may not automatically delete information already stored within TargetAYS.

For complete deletion, submit a TargetAYS deletion request in addition to revoking third-party permissions.

19. Security and Verification

To protect users from unauthorized deletion, TargetAYS may verify requests through:

  • confirmation from the registered email address;
  • a secure account session;
  • authentication through the original identity provider;
  • additional account-related information;
  • another reasonable verification method.

We will only request information reasonably necessary to verify the request.

20. Confirmation of Completion

After processing a verified request, TargetAYS may provide:

  • confirmation that the account was deleted;
  • confirmation that eligible Personal Data was deleted or anonymized;
  • information about categories of data retained;
  • the legal or operational reason for any continued retention;
  • a deletion request reference number.

The confirmation will be sent to the verified contact address associated with the request.

21. Restoring a Deleted Account

Once deletion has been completed, restoration may not be possible.

A user who wishes to use TargetAYS again may need to create a new account.

Previously deleted projects, conversations, integrations, or campaign settings may not be recoverable.

22. Children's Data

TargetAYS is not intended for children.

If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided Personal Data to TargetAYS, they may contact:

We will investigate the request and delete the information where required by applicable law.

23. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, we will:

  • revise the “Last Updated” date;
  • publish the updated version on our website;
  • provide additional notice where required by applicable law.

The version published on the TargetAYS website is the current version.
